Did you know the City of Lompoc is a completely wired city? I think this is a fantastic idea for any city and clearly the direction of the future. I took the time to send an email to the Santa Maria City Council about it. If you agree, you might send over a note as well.
Now onto the real estate market update for Nipomo & Oceano. Let’s start with Nipomo. Things stayed pretty much the same there since my last update of March 24, 2007. There are currently 205 homes on the market, compared to my last update total of 207. Forty homes are either pending or contingent, compared to 39 at my last glance. In the past 30 days, there were 36 new listings, 15 expired listings, and 13 homes have been sold. The most expensive was a 3200 sq. ft. home built in 2004 sitting on 5 acres of land. Take a peek. It was on the market for about 245 days.
Next let’s take a look at the sleepy town of Oceano. There are 48 homes on the market. So, an increase of one home since the last snapshot taken on March 24, 2007. Five pending or contingent homes. In the last 30 days, 7 homes sold, compared to 5 homes on the last snapshot, so a small increase. There were 10 new listings during that time, and 8 listings were laid to rest. Check out the most expensive home sold in Oceano the last 30 days.
