Jamie LeBlanc is no stranger to buying and selling real estate from the consumer’s viewpoint. She and her husband entered the real estate market in 1971 with the purchase of their first home in Goleta, California. Later, they purchased and sold many investment properties through the years in California, Georgia, and Arizona. Jamie has seen and experienced first hand the highs and lows of the real estate market. She remains a firm believer in the wisdom of sound real estate investments, especially one’s own home.
Jamie worked in the field of education for over 30 years, first as a teacher and later as an administrator. She taught in the Lompoc Unified School District for 17 years. She also served as assistant principal of Vandenberg Middle School and principal of Fillmore Elementary School during her tenure in Lompoc. Her last position was with the Santa Maria Bonita School District as the principal of Liberty Elementary School, which she was fortunate to help open as its very first principal in 2004. She is most satisfied about her experience supporting and serving the needs of children, parents, and teachers. Jamie brings to real estate her many years of learning how to serve the needs of people. Perseverance, knowledge, honesty, and a genuine interest in serving the best interest of others are just some of the qualities that she feels are necessary for a truly professional real estate salesperson.
Jamie received her B.A. degree from UCSB in Speech Pathology, her M.A. from San Francisco State University in Education, and her doctoral degree from the University of Southern California. She has joined her daughter’s real estate brokerage, Mint Properties, after retiring from her education career in 2013. They now work as a mother-daughter team.
